Wow and wow! What an amazing place. Wild Mountain retreat is the epitome of a relaxed, peaceful and fulfilling getaway. The location has amazing views, I spent hours mesmerised by the sunrises/sets and looking out at the mountain peaks ahead. The rooms are spacious, comfy and it was great to have a long hot shower at the end of the day. The cafe serves the best food in Rishikesh. I genuinely didn’t have one bad meal. It’s healthy, and many ingredients are sourced from the local farm, supporting the local villagers. It was the perfect location to focus on yoga and martial art training, and has the best view for any Shala in Rishikesh, in my pov. There are many beautiful and serene hikes from the retreat too. Fantastic time at the wild mountain retreat!
The accommodation was perfect, comfortable and clean. Nothing but the back drop of the mountain, clean air, and the soft noise of the jungle to make for some of the best nights sleep I've had in a long time. And the sunset views are another level! Food was fantastic and varied, guys in the kitchen are stars! Spending time with the guys at wild mountain retreat was a beautiful part of my journey. It is truly a home from home and I know I have made lifelong friends. The time I got to spend with Veer and Karam improved all aspects of my practice, and I'm a eternally grateful for what I will take with me. Special thank you to Keshav for all his help and for treating me like a brother. Such a great host, really felt like staying with family.

Rishikesh is one of my soul cities and I keep coming back here everytime i get a chance. Recently, i came across Wild Mountain Retreat and Kasratshala in the outskirts of Rishikesh, and that's when i decided to pay them a visit. And omg, what a place. Nestled amongst the mountains, this place is heaven on earth . With beautiful views of Rishikesh and the mountains, one can enjoy the perfect cup of tea watching the sunset. The people here are lovely and the hosts are kind. They take care of you like their own. I know it has turned into a big review, but some places are worth each word and this is the place to be! So come here, Unplug, rejuvenate, get lost in the beauty and discover yourself.
For me a perfect combination of luxury and wild is a must. I found this place to be so comfortable and so visually enthralling that I made a connection with the nature here. The staff is very friendly and keeps the place always clean and is well spoken and kind. The sunset here is very romantic above the Ganga. Chef cooked amazingly healthy mountain food on my request. Pet friendly ness was another plus.
The most amazing place situated in lush forest high above Rishikesh with a view over the whole town, Ganga and mountains. The rooms are very nice and spacious and the restaurant serves fresh and healthy food. There is a beautiful rooftop training centre for yoga, meditation and martial arts or simply watching the sun rise and set. The athmosphere at the retreat is beautiful and friendly and also in the small village attached. I highly recommend Wild Mountain retreat and can't wait to get back there!
It was an experiment going to this quaint and hidden stay (away from the hustle bustle of Rishikesh city), and turned out to be such a pleasant and memorable place! Very homely, welcoming and comforting experience. We were 5 friends and had sheer relaxation as well as fun here. Keshav and Ashish are the perfect hosts, who will end up being your friends! Highly recommended place, when in Rishikesh.
